Rocky Mountain Cannabis is a family owned and run business located on the same property that the owners live at. The lack of commute to work allows more time spent with plants which translates into happier healthier plants. The focus of the business is to grow top quality flower for the everyday connoisseur. Too many growers do not smoke or consume cannabis, Tyler does, a lot. Tyler’s love of cannabis has driven him to seek out strains that support an active and family focused lifestyle. The strains that have been curated by Tyler have supported him in his personal successes in business, sports, and most important raising a family. Rocky Mountain Cannabis is excited to share these strains with cannabis connoisseurs everywhere.
The Facility
Our state of the art facility is located in the heart of the Rocky Mountains nestled between 3 iconic rivers the Columbia, Kicking Horse, and Blaeberry providing us with ample fresh mountain water for our plants. Our impact on the environment is very important to RMC which is why we invested heavily in the most efficient equipment available and practice recycling and composting at every level of our operation.
Our Grower
Tyler Tetrault has been in the horticulture industry growing for over 20 years. After graduating from OIds School of Horticulture, Tyler started a green house and garden centre operation with his wife Pamela here in Golden. Tyler’s skills growing Cannabis were honed in the Columbia Valley where he was surrounded by numerous growers that his garden centre supplied nutrients and soil to the black market. With a valley full of growers sharing insights and an ACMPR license Tyler began to grow Cannabis. With legalization came the opportunity to expand the Garden Centre operation to include a Micro-Cannabis division.
